The first tank model I've built. Hopefully it won't be the last.
The infamous Panzer V, better known as the Panther, is widely regarded as one of the best medium tanks of the IIWW, despite being somewhat overengineered and unreliable (both common features of late-war German tank designs).
Tamiya no. 35065 is a dirt cheap kit with dated molds (1969!), but it fits pretty good and was a blast to assemble and paint. I'd recommend it especially if you're a beginner in the field and don't want to dish out serious dosh for something you might screw up. I bought it for around 14 euro, so it's a no-brainer.
Used four Humbrol enamel colors: 33 (black), 55 (copper for the exhaust), 56 (steel for the equipment and dry-brushing the tracks) & 84 (base sand color).
